
To access the Rate Cards page, you need the Manage System Settings global permission.
You can perform the following operations on rate cards:
- Adding,
- Deleting,
- Duplicating, and
- Editing.
Accessing rate cards
Rate cards have their own dedicated page. It is found among company settings (User Menu > Company Settings) on the user's menu:
Adding rate cards
To add a rate card:
- Click the Add button (
).
- As the rate card editor opens, select the currency (The default currency is set in Advanced settings > Project financial settings > Default currency unit).
- Choose an effective date.
- Set a default rate. (The default rate is applied to time entries entered by project roles not listed on the card).
- Edit the roles included in the card. (For the project roles not listed on the card, the default rate will apply). Editing operations on the roles include adding and deleting.
- Set the rates for each role.
- Click "Save".
Deleting rate cards

It is impossible to delete a rate card used in at least one project. To free the card up for deletion, you will have to choose another card for the project(s).
To delete a rate card:
- Hover the mouse pointer over the rate card you want to delete. The row gets highlighted.
- Click the "More actions" button (
)at the right end of the row.
- Select "Delete".
Duplicating rate cards
You can duplicate rate cards to save time. When you duplicate a card, the duplicate will have the name of the original card appended with "- Copy".
To duplicate a rate card:
- Hover the mouse pointer over the rate card you want to duplicate. The row gets highlighted.
- Click the "More actions" button (
)at the right end of the row.
- Select "Duplicate".
