My Vacations is a personal page of the logged user designed to help him view and manage his own vacations. The view offered by the personal vacation calendar is year-based, i.e. the user can view and manage his vacations/days-off, etc. within a specific year. The vacation types used in My Vacations are set in System Lists (Vacation types tab).

Accessing My Vacations

1. Open User Menu.
2. Click My Settings.
3. Select My Vacations. 

Year Selector

The My Vacations calendar is year-based. To select a year, use the year selector backwards or forwards. To revert to the current year, click 'This year'.

Setting a Vacation

To set a single day vacation:

1. Choose the correct year by using the year selector.
2. Click the date on the calendar you want to mark a vacation day.
3. Click again, a dropdown menu will open.
4. Use the Full day slider to indicate if this is to be a full day vacation or half-day vacation.
5. Select the type for the vacation by clicking.

To set a multiple day vacation:

1. Choose the correct year by using the year selector.
2. Click the beginning date of the vacation, it will get highlighted.
3. Click the ending date of the vacation, a dropdown menu will open.
4. Use the Full day slider to indicate if this is to be a full day vacation or half-day vacation.
5. Select the type for the vacation by clicking.

Editing Vacations

1. To change the length of a vacation: use drag-n-drop on its beginning date or ending date. As you hover the mouse over it, a 'handle' appears on both dates. The mouse pointer will change shape as you place it over the 'handle' (). When it changes, click and drag the edge of the vacation to another date thus changing its length.
2. To change the type of the vacation: click the vacation, a dropdown will pop up. Select another type for it.
3. To change full-day to half-day or vice versa: click the vacation, a dropdown will pop up. Click the Full-day slider to disable it if enabled, or enable if disabled.

Removing a Vacation

To remove a vacation, follow these steps:

1. Click the vacation you want removed.
2. Select Remove on the dropdown menu that pops up (see picture above).
