
To access financial information, you must have the 'Access billing information' permission in your global role
Project-related financial information is entered and monitored on the Billing screen accessible at button in the top right of the Project Details section.
Billing settings
It contains the following fields and options:
Field/Option | Description | Comments |
Project currency | The currency unit used for billing within the project. | Text search is available to quickly spot the required currency. E.g. type 'pound' to bring up a list of 2 items to select from: British pound and Egyptian pound. |

To set the default currency unit you must have the Manage system settings permission.

Adding budget to a project
To add the budget to a project:
- Click on the project's name to access its details section.
- Click on the 'Set Budget' field.
- Type the amount of the project's budget.
