Overview
When you hover over an activity name and click Details in Activity center, the details panel opens on the right side of the screen. It consists of the following sections and fields:
Health | Three states are available:

Status | Drop-down list with available status values. Note: Status is type-sensitive. It means that the list of available statuses depends on the type of activity. |

Project/Parent name | Two options are available:

Editable (hover the mouse over the name to reveal a link – Change). This action allows you to re-assign the activity to another parent/project. |
Activity name | Name of the activity. | Editable (in-line editing). |
ID number, Date of creation, and Creator | Activity ID details. | Non-editable. |
Completion status message | Example 1: Activity was completed 2 days after its planned end date. Example 2: due to end in 7 days. |

Completion rate slider with the message "XX % done" | Allows you to set the desired completion rate of the activity manually. | Editable. If the activity period includes today's date, it will be shown as a small light-blue circle. |
Actual hours (Time usage bar) & Hours left | Shows actual hours spent on the activity both as a numerical value and as a shaded portion of the time usage bar. Note 1: When actual hours < estimated hours the time usage bar is colored light blue with the actual hours portion darker blue. Note 2: When actual hours > hours left, the bar is colored red, and the hours left value becomes undefined. "Set hours left" prompt appears next to the bar. Note 3: When actual hours = estimated hours, the bar is colored yellow. Hours left: The value given is reciprocal with that in the Hours left field (see below). |
Actual hours indicator is non-editable. To edit actual hours, use Time logs (see Time logs). The hours left value is editable by in-line editing. The changes apply immediately to the value in the primary Hours left field (see below). |
Description | Description of the activity. | Editable in a rich text editor. To edit, click on the description; or, if there is no description yet, click in the area with the 'Add description' watermark text. |
Checklist | The section allows you to create a checklist of to-do or similar items related to the activity. | See Checklist. |
Custom fields | The section contains any custom fields created for activities of the given type (all activities, tasks, issues, or requests). | |
Messages, Files, Audit trail | The section is used to post messages, attach files, and view audit trail. | See Attaching files to activity, Activity audit trail. |
Add time entry | The button used to access the weekly time logger. | Note: The button is only available when you are assigned to the activity and have Add own time entries permission in your project access level. |
Timer | A stopwatch to automatically measure the time spent on an activity. | Note: The button is only available when you are assigned to the activity and have Add own time entries permission in your project access level. |
I'm done | The button used to mark your assignment within the activity as completed. As a result, the message "You have completed your assignment" is displayed. Also, the "Resume your work" link becomes available which can be used to continue your assignment. | Note 1: If you are the last person to complete your assignment on the activity, clicking the button will result in a prompt to close the activity. Note 2: The button is only available when you are assigned to the activity. |
Milestone | The milestone indicator has two values: - is not a milestone - is a milestone |
Click the diamond symbol to toggle between the 'Milestone' and 'Not a milestone' settings. |
Type | Drop-down list with available types (task, request, issue). | Use this to change the type of the activity. |
Priority | Drop-down list with available priorities. | |
Category | Drop-down list with available categories. | |
Time frame | Indicates the activity's time frame. Three scenarios are possible:
[Start date] - [Actual completion date] (Xd Y.Zh)*** (the actual completion date is an editable date, which equals by default to the date when the activity is given a treated as completed status, e.g. Closed). |

For completed activities only:
Planned end date |
Specifies the date that was planned as the end date for the activity. The date is editable unless there is a dependency that prevents it from being edited or deleted. | The date the activity was given the closed status (or, rather, one of the treat as completed statuses) becomes Actual completion date, see item above. Estimated hours | Contains an estimate of how many hours the activity will take to complete. | Editable. |
Hours left | Hours left to complete the activity. | Editable. |
Budget | The budget of the activity. Note: This budget does NOT include the budgets of its sub-activities, if any. |

Dependencies | The section is dedicated to dependencies. | Editable. Click to open the dependency editor. See Manage dependencies. |
Assignees | The section is dedicated to the assignees. | Editable. Click to open the assignments editor. See Activity assignments. |
* - Duration accuracy is 0.25h. Minimum non-zero duration is 0.25 hours (15 minutes). ** - Duration in decimal format rounded to the closest 0.25 h. *** - Planned duration is specified. |
Activity following
The Follow button is used to follow the activity. To learn more, see Activity following.
Financials
To access the activity financials settings, click the dollar button in the top right corner of the details section.
Additional options
To access additional options, click More actions .
- Repeat - makes the activity recurring. To learn more, see Recurring activities.
- Delete activity - allows you to delete an activity. To delete the activity:
- Select Delete activity .
- A confirmation dialog box with a counter will pop up.
- Choose the appropriate action.
