When an activity is in dependency with one or more master ones, e.g. it is set to start in 3 days after the other finishes, the master activity’s ID appears in the Dependency field along with the dependency symbol (
).
To edit the dependency:
- Click the dependency symbol (e.g. ).
- Make changes, as appropriate.
- Click 'Apply'.
In the illustration, ‘Layout’ activity (ID 176) is dependent on ‘Design’ one (ID 104). The ‘104’ next to the dependency symbol points at the ‘Design’ activity as the master one.
Dependency on a critical path
When a dependent activity belongs to a critical path, the dependency symbol is given in yellow.
