Overview
My Assignments is designed to help Birdview PSA users to focus on work at hand. While Activity Center gives one access to any project or task the user can view or edit, My Assignments is confined to activities assigned to you and you only.

- are completed (change active/completed filter to show);
- belong to completed projects (change active/completed filter to show)
- belong to projects put on hold;
- the 'work is done' checkbox is selected on the task details for the assignee (with Active filter on – see note below); and/or
- are in a dependency relationship and the Master task has not been completed (unless the extra setting 'Show activities with unfinished predecessors' is enabled - see below Extra settings).
The page offers wide sorting options allowing you to manipulate the list of tasks assigned to you.
A typical My Assignments page looks as follows:
Task Sorting
My Assignments page lists the activities which you are assigned to and whose status is either treat-as-open, treat-as-hold (if the Active filter is on – see below) or treat-as-completed (if the Completed filter is on). The activities can be sorted by:
- Start date,
- End date,
- Priority,
- Project,
- Customer name,
- Importance (WBS).
Active/Completed filter
You can filter your assignments by being active or completed. The former include activities with treat-as-open and treat-as-hold statuses. The latter include ones with treat-as-completed statuses. See Status types for more info.

I'm done
To mark your work on a task as done, click the white circle with a checkmark next to the task. The circle will change color to green, upon which the task will disappear from the page as closed.

Two options are available:

Hours Indicator
If there are time logs (actual hours, AH) and hours left (HL) associated with an assignment, its hours indicator displays values according to the rules:
- EH (estimated hours) are not used,
- If there are no AH—the value of AH/HL is shown as 0/HL,
- If there are both HL and AH—the value of AH/(HL+AH) is displayed, and
- If there are no HL—AH is displayed only.
