You must have 'Manage all custom forms' global permission or be included in the list of users of a custom form with the permission 'Manage this custom form and its records' to perform the actions below.
To get rid of the forms that you do not need currently or any longer and that only clutter your screen needlessly, you can use either archive or delete functions. The main difference is that archived forms can be recovered, while deleted cannot. View the archive feature as deleting to a recycle bin.
Form Archiving
To archive a form:
- Click Custom Forms on the header menu.
- Click 'Manage custom forms'
- Go to Active tab to view the active forms, or to Draft tab to view draft forms.
- Click the Edit link on the form you want to archive.
- As the editing screen opens, click 'Archive' at the top.

Notice that the 'Archive' button transforms 'Restore into Draft'.
Archived Form Retrieval
To restore an archived form into a draft:
- Click Custom Forms on the header menu.
- Click 'Manage custom forms'.
- Go to Archive tab to access archived forms.
- Click the 'Edit' link on the form you want to archive.
- As the editing screen opens, click 'Restore into Draft' at the top.
