The status type is a major attribute shared by a given number of statuses. For example, you can have a status called 'Closed', another one called 'Completed' and a third one called 'Finalized'. The thing that relates these three statuses to one another is the fact that they are essentially statuses of something completed, no longer worked on. Accordingly, such type is called 'Treat as completed'. In other words, you can have a number of statuses but if they all are given the 'Treat as completed' type then any process, e.g. a project, activity, portfolio, assigned any of the statuses will be understood as 'completed'.
Status types available in Easy Projects are:
|Treat as Open||Portfolios, projects or activities with this status are considered open.||Statuses of this type are used for work items in progress.|
|Treat as Hold||Portfolios, projects or activities with this status are considered on hold.||Statuses of this type are used for work items that have been suspended, put on pause or hold, i.e.pending continuation. Such activities are not used in resource loading calculations.|
|Treat as Completed||Portfolios, projects or activities with this status are considered completed.||Statuses of this type are used for work items the completion rate of which is 100%.|
